Many teens are struggling with anxiety and depression due to the changes and stress of COVID-19. Therapy can be a good way to talk about things and find ways to cope with the stressors that have come. It may seem like a foreign land, but normalize therapy and mental health problems for your teen. Here is some info from @kindmindstherapy and
@teenhealthdoc that may help you navigate this difficult time with your teen.
.
Talking with your established pediatrician may be a more comfortable ‘safe space’ to start discussing mental health issues. Schedule your appointment today.

Posted @withregram • @laurajaneillustrations Reflecting on what I am grateful for gives me perspective on my life;
It’s like zooming out,
refocusing the lens and
seeing things as a bigger picture. ![]()
It doesn’t erase or
fix the problems or the challenges,
But it reminds me that
even on the hardest days,
of the hardest weeks
in the hardest months,
there is so much in my life
that is good, supportive
and comforting. ![]()
So, this Sunday,
on the last day of the month,
I challenge you to
write a list of all the things,
big or small,
that you are grateful for
in you life right now. ![]()
Hold onto that list,
put it somewhere safe
and then the next time you have
a hard day
pull it out so you can
refocus your lens on life. ![]()
