Columbia Pediatrics is very excited to announce that Dr. Jacobson will be helping us this summer! Please read on for more information about him!
Dr. Nicholas Jacobson was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona, where he graduated summa cum laude in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and completed medical school at the University of Arizona. He then moved to sunny California where he trained as a pediatric resident at U.C. Irvine/CHOC. Dr. Jacobson then took a hospitalist position working at Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Long Beach. In addition to working in the hospital setting, Dr. Jacobson works part time in the general pediatric setting to better expand his pediatric knowledge.
He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UCLA and is involved in the teaching of pediatric residents and medical students. His interests include resident education and preventing physician and resident burnout.
Dr. Jacobson enjoys spending time at the beach, learning to surf, playing golf, and rooting for his hometown Suns and Cardinals.
